Dominion’s advisory board of Phelps, Hinman and Gross will capitalize on the company’s rapid growth and help guide the firm to its next stage of development as a global IP transaction and investment firm.

Dallas, TX, September 7, 2017 — Dominion Harbor Enterprises (DHE), a patent transaction and advisory company, Dominion Harborannounced today that it has formed a prestigious Board of Advisors to help the firm capitalize on its recent momentum and grow to its next stage of development as a global IP transaction and investment company.

The Board of Advisors will be composed initially of three world-renowned IP luminaries. Marshall Phelps is the former IP chief of both IBM and Microsoft — the only individual to lead the IP function at both of these technology giants — and is widely recognized as “the father of modern corporate IP strategy.” He was the very first inductee into the IP Hall of Fame.

Brian Hinman is another IP Hall of Famer who, in the words of the IP journal IAM Magazine, “is one of the most recognizable figures in the global IP market.” Mr. Hinman has led a storied career building some of the world’s most successful IP companies — most recently as the chief IP officer of the $30 billion Dutch technology giant Philips.

Patrick Gross brings unmatched investment experience to Dominion’s new Board of Advisors. As chairman of The Lovell Group, Mr. Gross has advised IP-rich technology and Internet e-commerce companies for decades, and has served as a director of more than two-dozen corporations ranging from angel-backed startups to NYSE firms. He spent 30 years as co-founder and principal executive officer of American Management Systems, Inc, a software and services company, which grew to $1+ billion revenue with 8,000 staff in North America and Europe. He is a trustee of the Aspen Institute, a member of both the Council on Foreign Relations and the Economic Club of Washington, and a cofounder and past chairman of the World Affairs Council.

“We are deeply grateful to have these illustrious individuals for serving on our Board of Advisors,” said David Pridham, Dominion’s chairman and CEO. “We have experienced rapid growth in the past year — with new Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients, the launch of operations in China, the formation of a new $50 million IP investment fund, and the acquisition of Kodak’s iconic portfolio of 4,000 imaging patents. I am confident we will benefit enormously from the wisdom and experience of these visionary leaders as they help to guide us to the next stage of our development as a global IP transaction and investment firm.”

Noted Board of Advisor member Marshall Phelps: “Dominion Harbor is on a very steep growth trajectory. As they move beyond the ‘me too’ crowd of typical IP advisory firms, I think they’re smart to look to outside advisors with broad experience to help them guide their growth to a whole new level of success.”
